Oratia United First Kicks

Our hugely popular First Kicks programme runs on a Friday night and is overseen by Oratia's Director of Football, Steve Cain.

First Kicks is open to all 4, 5, and 6-year-olds. The season runs over terms 2 and 3 starts with our famous shirt presentation and Disco. 

They play from 5.30pm-6.30pm on the turf at Oratia. Playing groups are put together on the night so there is no stress if you're away one week.

After the games, everyone comes into the clubrooms for the Player of the Day presentations.
We like to celebrate our youngest Oratia whānau, and certificates are presented along with chips and a juice.
We post photos of the youngsters on our social media platforms. If you're not comfortable with this please let us know.

The bar and kitchen are open so it's a great time to grab the kid's dinner and catch up with friends over a beverage.

Uniform

We supply each First Kicker with a playing shirt and a football - these are yours to keep!

Players will need shorts, socks, shin guards, and boots - these can be purchased through our online shop

Season

The season for First Kicks will start on Friday 19th April, 5.30pm. We will celebrate with a disco and all the players will be presented with their playing shirt and football. The 1st playing day is Friday 26th April.
